When is the outstanding balance due?

If you have paid a 30% deposit for a booking then please pay at least 8 weeks prior to your stay. We can provide a secure server online invoice, process a payment over the phone or kindly let us know if you are sending a cheque (made payable to 'Church Farm Country Cottages').

Are pets allowed in the cottages?

Yes. We allow one dog, by prior arrangement, and dependent on breed, to stay in the cottages with a fee of £25 for the stay. Please provide your own pet beds and all necessary equipment. Please also refer to point 11 on our terms and conditions,

11.  Pets: Pets are not allowed onto the furnishings or into the bedrooms and bathrooms.  They should also not be left in the cottages unattended. Pets must be kept on a leash and under control at all times and must not be allowed to foul anywhere on the premises of CFCC. Accidental fouling must be removed immediately. 

Can the changeover days be flexible?

It depends. We will try our best to be flexible but our cleaning staff are committed to working on Mondays and Friday. This means we are very unlikely to allow a bookings outside of these changeover days due to the fact that it breaks into another potential stay for other prospective guests. However, nearer the time of the stay, we may be able to allow extra nights or earlier arrivals if the accommodation is available, at an agreed price.

Is the indoor heated pool available all year round?

Yes, the pool is open from 8am to 7.30pm everyday. In school term time from Monday to Friday, there will be Waterbabies and private classes happening in the day for a defined number of hours. Please refer to the timetable shown in the Pool page under 'Useful Information'

What is Church Farm's cancellation policy?

Please refer to points 1 and 2 from our terms and conditions below.

1. Cancellation: By making your booking our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable. In the event of cancellation by telephone, which must be confirmed in writing, you will be liable to pay the total amount due.  If we manage to re-let the accommodation the re-letting price achieved will be returned to you (less the deposit of 30%). 

 

2. Cancellation Insurance: Cancellation insurance is not compulsory but strongly recommended to protect against the cancellation penalty above. Please note: we do not offer an insurance option. You should seek this independently.
