WELCOME: Steve & Trish Bowles, resident owners, welcome you to Church Farm Country Cottages situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our welcome cream tea includes homemade scones, jam, organic clotted cream and milk from the family farm at Beckington, near Bath and locally produced biscuits with various beverages. |
| LOCATION: We are located on the edge of the village of Winsley between the World Heritage City of Bath(5 miles) and the Saxon town of Bradford-on Avon (2 miles). Our village pub 'The Seven Stars' (pictured) which serves excellent food and real ale is just a short stroll (500 metres). Booking is essential (01225 722204). The village shop/newsagency/post office/off licence boasts long opening hours and is also within 500 metres. |

THE FARM AND SOME HISTORY: We have sheep, horses and arable land. The farm with its dry stone walls has been in the Bowles family for over 120 years.
Grandfather Bowles used to own the village pub as well as Church Farm. The cottages have been named after various fields surrounding Church Farm, many with Flemish names given by the Belgian weavers who came to this area in years gone by. |

| THE COTTAGES: Care has been taken throughout the renovation of the traditional single storey cow byres to retain many of the original features including natural stone walls, exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and stone pillars. |

The non-smoking accommodation is of a high standard and includes full central heating and double glazing. The interiors have been imaginatively decorated with co-ordinated furnishings and fabrics throughout. |

The locally made natural wood kitchens include an electric cooker/hob, microwave and fridge and are well equipped with many extras. Each cottage has a colour TV, video recorder and CD/radio cassette player. There is a selection of games and books in each cottage. Hairdryers and alarm clock/radios are provided in the bedrooms. There is a separate laundry room with washing machines, tumble
and spin driers and the shared use of a deep freezer. |

| We have three cottages which sleep 2 persons and four cottages which sleep 4/5 persons. Why not book your holiday or business stay with us. Several cottages can be booked for a family get-together, celebration or even a friends reunion. |

The cottages surround a patio and enclosed landscaped area with garden furniture. |
| TRANSPORT LINKS: Our nearest railway station is Bradford on Avon (2 miles). Buses run every 30 minutes to Bath, Bradford on Avon and beyond throughout the day. The nearest bus stop is at Avon Park (500 metres). Nearest airports are Bristol (1 hour) and Heathrow (2 hours). |

INDOOR HEATED SWIMMING POOL: The cottage guests can enjoy the superb indoor heated swimming pool (12 metres x 5 metres) with shower and changing facilities. THE SET ASIDE ROOM: Table tennis, table football, a pool table and a video library can be enjoyed by our guests. |
